The St. Joseph Cathedral 8th graders will be joining us this morning.  Be sure to say hello and help them feel welcome! 


A representative from Lincoln University School of Nursing will be in the commons today during both lunch shifts.


SENIORS - Josten’s will pick up your orders during lunch shifts this Friday.


Campus Ministry is inviting all Helias Catholic students to their tailgate tonight before the varsity football game starting at 5:15! Fr. Clever will be there and would love to see you all. Food will be chicken sandwiches, hotdogs, chip, and snacks. If you come to the tailgate... you are automatically entered into a raffle for tennis shoe passes, free cookie at lunch, gift card, and more... but the best of all, an authentic signed football by Joey Jones!. We hope to see you there!


Our first chromebook check-in is tomorrow at the end of the third period. We will run a Spiritual Flex schedule. Students please bring all school issued chromebooks to your third period on Friday.


Any SENIOR male who would like to participate in No Shave November, wristbands are now being sold in the front office.  No Shave November ends November 13th.  The wristbands will be $10 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Prizes will be awarded for Best Beard, Best Mustache and Best Attempt.  Judging will be held during the lunch shifts on November 13th.  All participants must be cleanly shaven on November 14th, which is Grandparents Day.


Boys Basketball is in need of 2-3 managers for the upcoming season. If interested, please see Coach Rothweiler in Room 206.


The Amazing Puzzle Race is back on Wednesday, November 19!  Sign up in the Helias Library to participate.  Jigsaw puzzles are 500 pieces, with a 2 hour time limit.  Teams can have up to 4 people; admission is $1 per person.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided.


Winter sports are around the corner and if you are planning to play basketball or wrestle and did not participate in a fall sport, you will need to make sure you get a current sports physical and fill out the online forms on Arbiter before the first day of practice on November 3.
