Silent Book Club meets in the library during the lunch periods today.  Bring a book, and enjoy a quiet, cozy place to read.  No cafeteria trays, please.

Congratulations to the academic team for placing 8th in their tournament this weekend.  Congratulations also to Marlo Wright for taking 5th place in most points per game. 

A representative from Truman State University will be in the commons tomorrow during both lunch shifts.

Any SENIOR male who would like to participate in No Shave November, wristbands will be sold in the front office starting today.  No Shave November will be held October 21st through November 13th.  The wristbands will be $10 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Prizes will be awarded for Best Beard, Best Mustache and Best Attempt.  Judging will be held during the lunch shifts on November 13th.  All participants must be cleanly shaven on November 14th.
