Mike, Johnson

Helias Catholic High School is welcoming Mr. Mike Johnson to the administrative team as an assistant principal overseeing admissions and student conduct.

Mr. Johnson has recently served as a special education teacher at Southern Boone High School, where he also served on the 2025–26 leadership team. His extensive administrative background includes serving as principal of Immaculate Conception School in the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, where he oversaw a $3 million budget and led a strategic plan for over 500 students. Additionally, his experience as the former director of admissions and student support at Tolton Catholic High School directly aligns with his new responsibilities at Helias Catholic.

Mr. Johnson brings a wealth of strengths to this role, including a deep commitment to servant leadership and the mission of Catholic education. His expertise in implementing positive discipline, combined with his proven track record in student recruitment and community engagement, will be vital assets as he works to advance the school’s program of faith, excellence, and community.
