Helias Catholic celebrated five years since the Crusader football team’s state championship win in 2020 during the home varsity football game September 5.

The unforgettable 2020 season saw the Crusaders achieve a perfect 14-0 record, capped with a thrilling Missouri Class 4 state title victory.

Led by Head Coach Chris Hentges ’84, Class 4 Coach of the Year, the team was built on grit, talent, and teamwork, producing 11 All-State players: Vinnie Calvaruso, Alex Clement, Will Heckman, Ethan Holzhouser, Damon Johanns, Dylan Kopp, Isaac Lopez, Cole Stumpe, Jacob Watson, Jacob Weaver, and Parker Wideman.
