Helias Catholic High School announced senior Helene Neuenswander as the 2025 Homecoming queen during an assembly Thursday, September 25.

Members of this year’s Homecoming court include Emma Brown, Daelyn Crisostomo, Josie Francka, Claire Morris, Liza Boyer, Olivia Monnig, Linley Pleus, Reagan Schmitz and Kambell Winegar.

Queen Helene Neuenswander

Helene Neuenswander is the daughter of Curtis and Sarah Neuenswander and is a member of First Assembly of God in Jefferson City.

Helene is a four-year member of the soccer team, where she has earned All-District honors. She is a member of the Growing with God club and Z-Club.

She serves Helias Catholic as a member of the peer ministry team.

Her honors include National Honor Society and A Honor Roll.

Helene volunteers her time at the HALO Foundation, Special Learning Center, and Special Olympics.

Emma Brown

Emma Brown is the daughter of Steve and Carla Brown and is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City.

She is a four-year member of the soccer team, where she received All-District and All-Region honors. She is a member of the Growing with God club, Medical Club, and Z-Club.

Emma serves Helias Catholic as a member of the peer ministry team.

Her honors include A Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and Student of the Month.

She volunteers her time at the Samaritan Center, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Artastic Art Camp.

Daelyn Crisostomo

Daelyn Crisostomo is the daughter of Josh and Heather Crisostomo and is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.

Daelyn is a four-year member of the track and field team, where she has earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Sectional, and All-State honors in pole vault.

She is a member and co-president of the Medical Club and has been a part of the spring musicals the past four years. She has also been a member of the Concert Choir, where she received All-State solo honors, and was a member of the Student Council.

She serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador and as a member of the peer ministry team.

Her honors include National Honor Society and Rotary Student of the Month. She has received the Bonnot and Hemmel Scholarship and the Hawthorn Bank Award.

She volunteers her time and talent singing in the XLT Adoration praise and worship at the Cathedral of St. Joseph.

Josie Francka

Josie Francka is the daughter of Brian and Cathy Francka and is a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins.

Josie is a four-year member and co-captain of the tennis team, where she has earned All-Conference honors. She was a state qualifier in track and field and was a baseball team manager.

She is a member and co-president of the Growing with God club, Medical Club, International Club, Z-Club, entrepreneurship, and participates in a Helias Catholic discipleship group.

She serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador, a member of the Student Council, and a member of the peer ministry team.

Josie’s honors include Student of the Month, A Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and Zonta Student of the Month. She has received the Bonnot and Hemmel Scholarship.

She volunteers her time at St. Martin Catholic Church, Capital Region Medical Center, and Special Learning Center.

Claire Morris

Claire Morris is the daughter of Kristin Morris and John and Kayla Morris and is a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in St. Thomas.

Claire is a four-year member of the softball team, where she has earned All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region honors. She is also a four-year member of the basketball team, where she has earned All-District and All-State honors.

She is a member of the Growing with God club and Z-Club, has been a baseball team manager, and serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador.

Claire’s honors include National Honor Society, A Honor Roll, Academic All-State in softball and basketball, and Zonta Student of the Month. She has received the Bonnot and Hemmel Scholarship and the Norb and Jayne Luebbering Award.

She volunteers her time with St. Thomas the Apostle parish and Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri.

Linley Pleus

Linley Pleus is the daughter of Jeffrey and Courtney Pleus and is a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos.

Linley is a member of the golf team and has also participated in volleyball. She is a member of the International Club, Growing with God club, and current co-president of the Medical Club.

She serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador.

Her honors include National Honor Society and Student of the Month. She has received the Bonnot and Hemmel Scholarship.

She volunteers her time at Capital Region Medical Center and St. Francis Xavier parish.

Liza Boyer

Liza Boyer is the daughter of Dr. Greg and Kristin Boyer and is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City.

She is a four-year member and current president of the Student Council. She is a four-year member of the volleyball team and is involved in the Medical Club, Growing with God club, Entrepreneurship Club, and is a baseball manager. She is also a member of a Helias Catholic discipleship group.

She serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador and as a member of the peer ministry team.

Her honors include Girls State delegate, National Honor Society, and A Honor Roll.

Liza volunteers her time with Heart of Missouri Humane Society, The Salvation Army, Helias Catholic Parents’ Club, and Special Olympics.

Olivia Monnig

Olivia Monnig is the daughter of Trevor and Karen Monnig and is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.

She is a four-year member of the golf team and is a member of the Medical Club and the News Tribune Youth Advisory Board. She is also a member of a Helias Catholic discipleship group and Growing with God club. She is a four-year member of the Student Council, where she has served as the public relations officer, and is also a member of the Entrepreneurship Club.

She serves Helias Catholic as a Student Ambassador and as a member of the peer ministry team.

Her honors include A Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Zonta Student of the Month, and Helias Catholic Student Leadership Award. She received the Dr. Skain Memorial Award and the Bonnot and Hemmel Scholarship.

Reagan Schmitz

Reagan Schmitz is the daughter of Jake and Rachael Schmitz and is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.

Reagan is a four-year member of the soccer team, where she has earned All-Conference and All-District honors. She is also a member of the Z-Club and Growing with God club.

Her honors include National Honor Society, A Honor Roll, and CMAC Academic All-Conference.

Kambell Winegar is the daughter of Darryl and Jodi Winegar and is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.
