Athletic Handbook

In order to participate in Helias Catholic athletics, students must maintain academic eligibility and meet all other requirements outlined in the Helias Catholic Student/Family Handbook.

Registration

For the 2025-2026 school year, we will be transitioning our student-athlete registration from rschooltoday to Arbiter Registration.  This change is being made due to the merging of these two companies.

What You Need to Do:

1. Visit the new registration website here.
2. Create an account.
3. Complete the required registration forms for your student-athlete.
4. Upload the MSHSAA Medical Eligibility Form (Step 3) page.

We encourage all parents to complete their student’s registration as early as possible to avoid delays in athletic eligibility.

Sports Physicals

Please see the five-page document linked here for the MSHSAA Preparticipation Physical Evaluation Form/Process for students’ required physical to participate in athletics.

MSHSAA requires students to turn in only the Medical Eligibility Form (page 5) to the school.

If you believe the school nurse or athletic trainer should be made aware of a medical condition or previous health issue, please provide additional information or contact them directly by email skampeter@heliascatholic.com (school nurse Mrs. Staci Kampeter) or kschulte@heliascatholic.com (athletic trainer Mrs. Kelsey Schulte).

Activities Fee and NFL Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

There is a participation fee of $275 to participate in a MSHSAA-sanctioned sport or activity. The fee helps to cover the cost of operating athletic and activity programs (e.g., transportation, tournament fees, officials, uniforms, equipment, etc.) Helias Catholic offers an opportunity each fall to offset the cost of activities participation with the NFL raffle ticket fundraiser.

Letter Jackets

Helias Catholic letter jackets can be ordered through Turkey Creek Golf Center by email or phone at 573-636-7833.

Letter Jacket Patch Sewing Service

Need patches added to your student’s letter jacket?
Please contact Lacy Ralston at lacyj.ralston@gmail.com to arrange drop-off or pickup.

Pricing:

• Name Patch – $15

• General Patch – $10

• Captain’s Star or Chevron – $5

You can drop the jacket and patches off to Mrs. Ralston at school or contact her directly to arrange a pickup.  Please place all patches in a ziplock bag with a note describing where each patch should be placed.  Removal or repositioning of existing patches is also available.
